American Legion Auxiliary Minnesota Girls State
The American Legion Auxiliary Minnesota Girls State is a highly respected educational program for US high school students. At Girls State, participants learn about the rights and responsibilities of citizens, with training centered on the structure of city, country, and state governments.
The Girls State Program has an impressive list of Famous alumni, including:
E. Lynn Harris, Jane Pauley, Nancy Redd, and Kate Shindle.
